[SOLVED] Problem running Lazarus 1.8.4 on Peppermint 9 64bit

Hi guys,

I tried Lazarus 1.8.4 64 bit on Peppermint 9 64 bit. Installation using gdebi and all went OK.

But when run Lazarus, got error message :
Debugger not found

It seems that installation missing gdb file and I couldn't find gdb file on Peppermint.

Any idea how to fix this?

You have to install the debugger. You can use Software Manager from Peppermint menu, and search for gdb. After that I think the installer finds it by its own.

You were right.

Peppermint doesn't come with gdb by default. Newbie in Linux here  :-[

After install it with Synaptic, Lazarus works.
