TSQLQuery SQL Editor
« on: August 19, 2018, 10:22:34 am »
Hi..I am pretty new to Lazarus. I installed on a LinuxMint 18.3 with Cinnamon desktop, Lazarus 1.8.4
I setup a connection, transaction, data access and a query on a form, with access to a firebird database.
When I try to edit the SQL String of the TSQLQuery and I type in letters in the editor-box they are
directly doubled.. SSEELLEECCT  shows up..for example. This happens when using SQLDB,
I tried the same with the respective ZEOSDBO components and I can edit the SQL-String perfectly,
data access works without problems. What can I do to get SQLDB working ? Any help appreciated...

Thanks for the answer! Will try it out. What still puzzles me is that it works perfectly with ZEOSDBO, it looks
like the "same" SQL editor pops up, but under ZEOSDBO SQL entry works perfectly..
