I'm not good in database programming. But SQL database connection in Lazarus isn't that hard.

Was just a matter of time before this one would pop up again.
Absolutely useless 'tut' but still funny nonetheless.
All posts based on: Win10 (Win64); Lazarus 1.8.0 'stable' (#56594 win64) unless specified otherwise...

Which (free) guide would you suggest? This one?
Windows 7 32bit, Lazarus v1.8.4    FPC 3.0.4.

You can find Marco Cantu's free PDF's on this site.  But you have to be at least 13.67% patient to find the free version.

Can we close this. FPC and Lazarus have superb, best in class, sql connectivity,
Everybody knows that -or should know that -.

That does not mean I am attached to any religion, but it covers Muslim and Christians, as opposed to programmers....

It is good practice to keep connections to databases encrypted for privacy reasons.
I dont know wheter lazarus has build in for support for that.
It would be a disadvantage for lazarus because an increasing number of privacy regulations
in many countries may  demand encrypted connections of personal data.

bobowl2: This is the sixth post of you which does not post any detail of the problems you are facing. And all of them are in a discussion thread.

Open a separate thread, and describe your problem.
