LazActiveX to show HTML page in a form
« on: April 17, 2018, 02:23:04 pm »
So. I carefully searched for my problem.
googled this: http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/LazActiveX

I need to show rendered HTML page inside my form. I have installed LazActiveX, drop it to my form and what next?

That same page you linked to mentions a step-by-step example "Example: Internet Explorer in a form with event support."

Doesn't that work for you ? If not, then please elaborate about what exactly isn't working for you.

Yes. Found it.
Seems it works but I need this:
1. Copy to clipboard HTML source code
2. Insert HTML source code in SynEdit
3. and then show/render this HTML in a form(in LazActiveX).

So I do not want to use network in this application.

Ah, i f i understand you correctly then you are simply looking for a component that is capable of rendering html instead of retrieving it from the internets ?

If so then i would probably suggest to look at another component such as htmlviewer but perhaps that doesn't fullfill your needs ?
