It timeouts and I've confirmed with few people it isn't just on my end.

It is TRUE, the last responsive node was for me "eth1-1.rtr.szombathely.hbone.hu".
Are we facing a simple fact that last election results in Hungary were not as "international community" expected?

Nah, they wouldn't act so fast and certainly not to a random open source project. Let's not mix politics into it until we have actual evidence, shall we?

I almost always try to make the world better! When I was informed about wiki problem I tried to gather command "tracert wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org" results and informed the forum about a symptom pointing to Hungary. Some sarcasm about "international comunity" is allowed as the term is also for people completely unaware of existing Hungary, Hungarian notation and election calendar in that country (I had a pleasure to visit more than 10 years ago).

Anyway, let's not derail the topic any further. I hope the person responsible for maintaining the wiki will soon see this post or otherwise become aware of the issue and fix it. Will try to check wiki again in few minutes.

//edit: Still broken.

Power outage and the sysadmin is out of town. It will be fixed tonight or tomorrow morning.

Maybe use some semi- cloud solution? I have space. Just contact (by phone, my number). Will set it up. I have my space for 18 years (march 2000) and will keep it als long as I live. And it is fast.
Basically just a fail-over daemon. Traffic is not an issue.
Specialize a type, not a var.
