Lazreports Compile but not Run (Send to GDB?)

After I load frReport1 onto virgin form I am prevented from using the onestep RUN(F9) command (Run/Compile then Run.exe runs fine). Reported error is "could not send a command to GDB"
I have tried many project debug settings, including NO debug. I have changed package Lazreport v0.9.9 package Options, including NO debug, still no Run(F9).
Lazarus 1.8.0RC2 FPC3.0.2, Win10, (Win7 same problem)
Has anyone else noticed or fixed this problem -Regards

Did you made sure that gdb is not frozen in memory and simple does not reply? A computer restart might help at this point (no sleep/pause etc hard restart).

Thanks for your prompt reply. Tried restarting PC but no change. Debug is running fine, breakpoints etc working. My other PC (Win7) shows exactly the same problem) -thanks again.

sorry I have no idea what might be wrong at this point. I'll let more experienced with gdb users to answer this.
