FYI: I am porting ACCURACER (www.aidaim.com) to FPC.

For those who want a component to give you full SQL power w/o MySQL or PostgreSQL, I am helping the guys at Aidaim port to FPC. This week I am testing on Linux, if it goes well, then I will test on my Mac's, and then back to Windows. Their product already works in Delphi 4 -> whatever they are up to now. But, I offered to port to FPC and to yank out INDY and put my DXSock 6 code under the hood.
I am posting this to as a FYI ... I had tried making headway with TurboPower's FF, got it working - but the SQL is so antiquated. I jumped track to my old business agreement with AidAim - v15 is a great product (a little rough around the edges), but this v16 build will give you an embedable SQL engine (InMemory, Single User on Disk, Multi-User on Disk, or Client-Server) in FPC/Lazarus.
Cheers!

Sounds great. Keep us posted. The full encryption feature is a big plus.
