I have searched in Tools/ Options/ Editor/ Markups and Matches
My "Bracket Highlighting" setting is: "On both sides"
However, in my code editor, when my cursor is beside a ) or a ] the matching partner ( or [ is not highlighted.
How can I get both the ( and the ) to highlight when my cursor is next to one?  Must be some small setting I am missing.  (My "begin" and "end" are all highlighting correctly)

Platform:  Lazarus 1.8.1, FPC 3.0.5

Do an svn up.

This was broken in 1.8.0, and some 1.8.1 (svn branch).
It should be fixed in 1.8.2 (and 1.8.3)

I can't reproduce it, neither on 1.8.2 or 1.4.4, by the way the "both sides" choice is for left and right of the bracket, either bracket, it is a small discrepancy when two brackets of the same type are close to each other then the bracket left of the caret is highlighted.
