What happended with LCLQT in Lazarus 1.8? Bug?

I have some modifications in TDateTimeCtrls for QT-Widgetset.
I wrapped it in:
{$ifdef LCLQT}
RunThisWithQT;
{$endif}

Until lazarus 1.8 this code was active only with qt-widgetset.
With 1.8 when i select from project options qt-widgetset it has no affect.
It has only affect when I add custom option like this:
-dLCLQT

Is this bug or removed from lazarus 1.8?

(Macos sierra, lazarus 1.8 fpc 3.0.4)
