Trying to compile amw_ide_tools.lpk package

Hello,
  I try to use LAMW (see http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/LAMW) but when i try to compile the package 'amw_ide_tools.lpk' lazarus raises the exception in file XWindow.pas(7,6): 'can't find unit x used by XWindow'.

But the file 'x.pp' is present in 'C:\Android\laz4android1.8\fpc\3.0.4\source\packages\x11\src\x.pp' and this path i can see in tooltip that appears when I leave mouse cursor over unit listed in uses clausole in interface of file 'XWindow.pas'

I used Laz4Android 1.8.0 with fpc 3.0.4

I don't know what I to do to solve my problem.

Can anyone can help me?

Hi, Luigi!

To compile and install a LAMW package you need a system/default project [win or linux] open in Lazarus IDE
[not a LAMW project]

People under the windows are probably writing this project.
I was just installing this on Lazarus under Linux.
I had to correct some bugs!
If they even tested it, they would have noticed it.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work under Linux.

Could you please remove the information that this works under Linux?
Or adding information that only run under windows.

Welcome to the forum.

I just tested LAMW some days ago. I installed it using LAMW4Linux-installer script. I was able to install it on Ubuntu 18.04.5. Although it failed to build AppDemo1 but I managed to build apk if I start a new project. I haven't tested it thoroughly but seemed to be okay.

If you have problem installing or using LAMW, please provide more information. What bugs have you corrected? What is not working? Please share what you've found, so the developer can fix them
