Is there a way to turn on the little lines VB .NET has that helps you alight your objects to top and left/right?

Tools->Options
In the IDE Options dialog click Form Editor in the treeview on the left  (7th node under Environment).
On the Form Editor page check Show Guide Lines, then click OK.
