Search function (Ctrl + F) is not working.
« on: January 21, 2018, 02:48:03 pm »
I have an issue with the search function: when I attempt to search for a word using Ctr + F, Lazarus IDE will only find one word at the start of the program, even when it appears in multiple other parts of the program. It doesn't seem to be able to find any words beyond that, my selected options are: "From beginning", "Global" and "Forward Search".

Thanks for your help.

Maybe what you need is F3 key.

Ctrl+F is for the first search.
F3 is to continue searching.

change them to "from cursor", global, "forward search" and make sure you press ctrl+home before searching a term.
