Creating AVI file
« on: January 11, 2018, 03:52:44 pm »
Hello

I am working in an application that capture a video + audio from a blackmagic card.  The thing is that the blackmagic doesn´t work with DirectX, but their own API.   I am be able to capture frames and show them to the screen, but I really don't know how to save video + audio to an AVI file.

Does anyone can give me some directions on AVI files?  any component or library that I can use?

Thanks

I've never used Blackmagic cards, but I'd be very surprised if there wasn't a DirectShow implementation.

Have a read through: http://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php?topic=16797.0  - About half way through there was someone there using Blackmagic cards and DirectShow.
