« on: December 23, 2017, 02:22:30 pm »
Hi all,

I'd like to present you Unbound Bible, a free and open source software made with Lazarus to explore Bibles in many languages. It runs on Linux, Windows and macOS (Carbon). It’s based on RichMemo component.

You state that the software is open source.
Where are the sources hosted?

@howardpc:
In case you are near the city of Bethsaida then there is a chance that there's a carpenter around who's able to help you out.

Thank you Vladimirr  :)

New macOS version of the Unbound Bible has been released.
I ported pascal code to Apple Swift.
And now I have crossplatform desktop application writen in Object Pascal for Windows/Linux and in Swift for macOS.
It's still open source and may be usefull for those who going to develope in the same way.

Interesting choice of using Swift in lieu of Pascal on macOS. Any comments on why and on what hurdles you encountered?

Poor Cocoa support by LCL, and next to no objective pascal tutorials and samples?

Interesting, sad that you needed to port to Swift for MacOS though. Curious, as Phil, to know your difficulties.

Cheers,
