MultiColumn Report
« on: December 03, 2017, 02:47:45 pm »
Hi
i had a problem getting a report to work.

It should look like:

Master
------------------------------------
Detail           | Subdetail

So I tried to use subreports on Detailband to show dteail and subdetail side by side, but there are only the records of the last detail shown in subdetail (Subreport2), Subreport1 is shown OK).

MasterData
-------------------------------------
Subreport1    |Subreport2

In the Subreports I used a master-band.

Using MasterData, DetailData, SubDetailData one after another in the Report all is shown right, so the relations of the datasources seams to be ok.
Is any hint/sample available here? (And yes I got the documentation and I read it - but did not absolutely understand. May be I had to use groups, but how?)

This is also postet in german lazarus-forum: http://www.lazarusforum.de/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=11271

You should definitely use groups.
PDF FastReport User's Manual (very similar to LazReport) https://www.fast-report.com/public_download/UserManual-en.pdf
Lazarus 2.0.8 FPC 3.0.4 Linux Mint Mate 19.3
Zeos 7̶.̶2̶.̶6̶ 7.1.3a-stable - Sqlite 3.32.3 - LazReport

OK, but I did not understand where and how to use groups. Is there any sample of that?
