Form keeps resizing in the IDE, when I click to add another component

I am having a problem with the IDE, I am using Linux Mint 18.2 Sonya x64. When I try to create a very simple program by placing components onto my form, the form is resizing when I click on a component I want to add. I don't know if there is a setting I am overlooking to disable this feature (I looked through all the options). The Youtube video I linked to, shows the problem. I also made sure that the AutoSize option was False on each component including the form itself. This is making it a living hell to build an application as I have to manually resize it between adding each component.
