Disable debugger not found alert (OSX)

hi All,
when starting Lazarus on OSX i get an alert every time that there is no debugger installed.
is there a way to disable the alert and directly start the IDE?
please advise.

Yeah, you could install a debugger. :o

The 1.8 series IDE is bit more tolerant of no debugger than 1.6. Are you using one of the release candidates ?

In case you haven't found this yet, in Options | Debugger, set debugger type to None.
