IDE Editor: focus jumps to Messages window

I'm not sure bug is repeated for all.
On typing text (in attabs.pas code) i see jumping focus to Messages window. i must press hotkey to close msg wnd. then I can continue to type text. so focus lost from Editor to Msg window.
focus jumps when IDE hilites an error with red underlines.

Ubuntu, gtk2, Cinnamon desktop.
was ok before on Unity desktop.

I cannot reproduce.
Try with the option:
  Message Window -> Focus messages at compilation.
[Edit] No, actually here also focus jumps to the message window shortly but then it returns to editor. In your case it does not return apparently.
You could try to debug the IDE's code to see what happens, if you find the correct place in code.
