Bug in TPageControl

I think I found a bug in TPageControl, but I am not sure.
I am programing on Windows, and when the tabs are on top they are styled. When I change the Property "Tab Position" to tbLeft the tabs are diferent and not styled (Windows 9x style). Is this a bug or normal behaviour?

Edit 1: Another bug is that even if the property Multiline is on false it still shows tabls on multiple lines both on design and runtime

There's a fairly old bug report on a similar topic; obviously no one has fixed it so far
(http://bugs.freepascal.org/view.php?id=17975).

I cannot reproduce the Multiline bug which you mention (Laz 1.2.6, Laz trunk). Maybe your Lazarus version is too old?

My Lazarus version is 1.2.6, so fairly recent.
The Multiline bug only applies when tabs are on the left.

No. Applies to Right as well. Trying to find a cure for this one.

Running Laz 1.6.4 32bit.

Normal Windows behavior. See TCS_VERTICAL
