Missing component tabs

Please take a look at the image attached. Sometimes the component tabs are missing when opening a project. If I close the project and open it again, sometimes the tabs comeback. Strange.

No. You instructed the IDE to do so. You have a f*cked up install. Anyway, rightclick on the tooblar on an empty spot, options, select the components tab, Save configuration.
And it looks like you un-docked the object inspector and the - alternate vertical - components tab is on the right hidden under the object inspector.

Well, I would appreciate if someone tell me how to instruct the IDE to do so. Here it is. No component pallet at all.

Did you try the component window(Ctrl+Alt+P)? It's much more flexible then the standard Component Palette.
