Multiple TEditMask issues
« on: July 14, 2017, 01:14:49 pm »
Closing the edit mask editor freezes Lazarus, pressing a button not allowed by the mask generates an exception, and the cursor tends to jump to the right-most, preventing you to edit text.

This is on a 1.6.4 I a few days ago.

I'll use a normal TEdit and a piece of code instead.

Which platform? Again, just "doesn't work" doesn't help... Example given: There is no issue with Lazarus 1.9 and fpc 3.1.1 on linux-armhf... And Lazarus 1.6.4. probably won't receive any updates anyway because it is a supposed to be a stable point release. (So what's this?: "This is on a 1.6.4 I a few days ago." that makes only sense for a development version)

Example code and platform and fpc version.., by now we know the laz version...
(For normal readers: he knows all that! he is not a beginner <grumpy  >:D >:D>).

Sorry! Hasty post.  :-[

It's on Windows 7, 64-bit.

That's odd.
I have an extensive test suite for maskedit, which until recently ran without any prblem on Win7-64.
Unfortunately, due to catastrophic failure of my harddisk, I no longer have a Windows version at all, so I cannot test this for you.
