Slideshow with transistions
« on: June 24, 2017, 11:06:13 pm »
Hello,

I'm looking for an example or component to create a slide show with transitions.
The slideshow itself is very easy with a timer, timage etc. But I want to make it more attractive with fade-in, fadeout and other transistions between the pictures.

Delphi has PicShow. Does Lazarus has something simular?
I found some threads from 2013 about this subject but nothing came up.

Maybe in 2017 there is something useable ? The goal is to make a slideshow for a digital photoframe.

Thanks in advance,

Peter

Not a ready to use component, but a project in the Graphics Contest 2017 has what you're looking for:

thanks for your answer. The project looks great. I'm going to look in to it.
I hope it translates to Windows easily.

It should be able to compile on Windows without any change. It didn't use any OS specific function.

You are right. It compiles and works without a problem.
Thanks for sharing your project
