Changing user accounts [SOLVED]
« on: June 06, 2017, 02:18:46 pm »
Hello, due to keyboard issues, I have been forced to create a new Apple Mac user account. This has created some migration issues but I am slowly working through them. One problem I face is that my heavily customised Lazarus/Free Pascal setup has reverted back to standard. What do I need to copy from my old config folders to restore my setup?

"It builds... ship it!"

Mac Mini M1
macOS 13.6 Ventura
Lazarus 2.2.6 (release version)

The problem is sorted now. It seems that my previous attempt to copy the `~/.lazarus` folder didn't pick up everything. I've just tried it again and my IDE is back to its former glory!

Thanks for sharing the solution.
function GetRandomNumber: integer; // xkcd.com
begin
  GetRandomNumber := 4; // chosen by fair dice roll. Guaranteed to be random.
end;
