sqoKeepOpenOnCommit and closing program
« on: March 18, 2017, 08:10:14 am »
Instead of CommitRetaining, I started using TSQLQuery's new property sqoKeepOpenOnCommit. However, when the app is closing there is this error:
Quote
Operation cannot be performed on an active dataset

Manually closing the dataset before exiting the application gets rid of that, but isn't this a bug?

I'm not sure it it would be classified as a bug but may be you could do code samples. One with CommitRetaining and one with sqoKeepOpenOnCommit that causes the error. This will make it easy to see if it is an error in SQLdb code or not.

Thanks, goodname, but it turned out that rebooting the computer resolved everything. I can't reproduce it anymore.
