Trying to Open Old Think Pascal Files
« on: March 02, 2017, 05:59:14 pm »
I have some old Think Pascal files that I need to look at.  None of the text editors I have will open/display them properly.  Can I use Free Pascal to view these files?

I tried to download and install the Free Pascal Compiler (Mac OS 10.12), but I cannot find the files anywhere after the installation.  All I see are some docs in the Developer folder.  Where is FPC installed? Is FPC a command-line only tool, and that's why I can't find any files?

Free Pascal is a commandline tool. Some people use it with XCode, some with Lazarus.

There is a textmode IDE too, called "fp".

Get Lazarus at SourceForge.net. Fast, secure and Free Open Source software downloads Open Hub project report for Lazarus
