Printing Chart directly to PDF
« on: March 01, 2017, 09:38:59 am »
Hi there again,

In previous topic (http://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php/topic,32305.0.html) I had a problem with printing resolution and wp gave the best solution.
As I want to print the charts directly to PDFs, I am wondering if there is any other way to export/print a Chart direclty to a PDF using the reports template (the frReport page that we prepare for the printing). Now I am creating the report and through a printing program I export the PDFs which is something that takes much time.

Install a pdf printer driver... Most OS's, including Windowss and Linux have one.
Specialize a type, not a var.

If you're using Lazreport then PowerPDF can be used to export PDF reports:

Also included in LazReport is the LazReportPDFExport.lpk package, this package provides PDF export using PowerPDF which is available in Lazarus-CCR repository.
