Hi there,
Thought I'd shamelessly plug that recently I gave my 4th Free Pascal chessprogram Nemeton a GUI.
Last year wrote a new super fast (to me) software rasterizer as a precursor to a real time software voxel raytracing thing that I'm currently doing/trying.
But a few weeks ago decided to give Nemeton a simple GUI. Nemeton is Winboard chess engine/console application that communicates through the Winboard protocol/readable text commands.
By no means up there strength wise but fast and above all simplistic. Also open source so some people here might find it interesting. Has competed in a few computer chess championships.
Nemeton3D draws to an internal buffer and then copies it to Windows by OpenGL and GLDrawPixels.
