SSL for TCP/IP
« on: January 16, 2017, 03:38:20 pm »
hi!
I use in my program TCP/IP connection between client and server. I would like to protect this connection with ssl certificate.
I use lNet package. Can you help me and tell how should I do this?

I can use this only for https connection or I can protect tcp/ip and sockets?

thx:)

If lnet supports OpenSSL and has the required API available it should be pretty straight forward.

I have used SSL with Synapse and Indy in the past, both work well.  Can't give you any more advice than that as I have never used INet package.

If I forget, I always use the latest stable 32bit version of Lazarus and FPC. At the time of this signature that is Laz 3.0RC2 and FPC 3.2.2
OS: Windows 10 64 bit
