KCOntrols KGRID crashing OSX
« on: December 27, 2016, 07:36:44 pm »
Hi,
I have a problem with Kgirid on OSX, my application that has a few KGrids on it compiles run etc fine on windows; however when I copied project to MAC the project would not open; it would just crash Lazarus with NO error message.
After some experimenting I found that the Kgrid on OSX does not like celldoublebuffering; ( had to change on windows machine then open on mac), now the application will open and compil, but as soon as I click on a button to show the form that has kgrids on it; my application will immediately terminate.

Is anyone else getting problems with kgrid on OSX?
Lazarus SVN 53782 (both on win and MAC), all same version of components; KControls is bitbucket version; dated 25/12/16.

Any input; would be good.
The best way to get accurate information on the forum is to post something wrong and wait for corrections.

Found this unanswered question now and I can see your similar question on KControls home page.
I already answered this question there.

Noticed also that you use old Lazarus/Free Pascal versions.
Try newer versions, possibly latest stable releases or versions from trunk.

Please, next time ask directly on KControls home page. Thank you.
