fatal: cannot open include file "lcl_defines.inc" after saving a project

After installing Lazarus 1.6.2 under OSX 10.11.6 with fpc-3.0.0 and fpcsrc-3.0.0 everything worked fine, allowing me to open example files, and run them without problems. When I open a new project, application,  add a button on a form and run it , it is still ok. But after saving the project I get a fatal crash: lclproc.pas(22,2) Fatal: cannot open include file "lcl_defines.inc". Later I got a compile problem because the graphics unit was causing circular reference between units: a new unit1 was automatically added to the project just before. Sometimes the save dialog hangs.   

A clean reinstall shows similar problems.
