Compiler Progress Window
« on: November 29, 2016, 12:18:06 pm »
Hello!
After some projects in other languages I returned to Lazarus and wanted to create a project with the new Lazarus version.

For some reason I don't have the window with the progress of the compiler during compilation anymore and I couldn't find anything in the options even though I looked through all pages many times.

How can I enable the progress window of the compiler?

Thanks,
Atilius

It's gone. Lazarus uses multithreading for compilation now and the dialog was removed.

Thanks for the quick answer and information.

In my opinion the dialog should be reenabled, since it is user friendly.
Even in multithreaded processing the messages of different threads can be send to one dialog thread instead of the message window.

I am aware that this is a personal opinion.

Anyways, thanks and cheers,
Atilius

Much of that information is now displayed in the Messages dialog.
