Some environment options don't work

I'm using fp 3.0 on 32 bit Linux and installed fp via the deb file. I've noticed that some environment options don't have any affect. For example the auto indent and closing of brackets. I haven't tested all the options but the compiler options seem to be ok, it's just the environment options.

Also debugging isn't supported but from what I've read here it seems I need to compile from source for it to work.
