LazReport variables / printer designer

Hello,

so i changed this one because I found out that its possible to just use local varibales.
But I just can find the one original tutorial and there is the normal variable stuff not good explained.
Can somebody help me ? I tried it exactly like in the tutorial, but i just get a white paper.

Or is there another print option where I have a desginer like in Lazreport ?
