Paragraph Split

I have to split some paragraphs from a SELECT FROM that I have inside of a application and insert it into different dbgrids or string grid lines based on how many times the user typed the ENTER (return) key to create empty lines and them put it on a array (so I need to count the number of paragraphs that I've got).

Ideas are welcome.
