Memo issue
« on: September 29, 2016, 11:21:38 am »
I'd like to know a thing..
I am creating a GUI application and i want to put a memo where the user can write codes in it!
I saw RichMemo but it works on rtf files and my purpose is to build html files and write the code, the user wrote in the memo, in that file.
My problem is only the memo.. nothing other.. please help

That's where the synedit controls are for. Not a memo.
Object Pascal programmers should get rid of their "component fetish" especially with the non-visuals.

Basically you need just a synedit component and a synhtml component and set the highlighter property from synedit to synhtml.
Job done...(almost, load and save dialogs... menu)
