Compile Errors

Hi,
Using PC-Linux, Lazarus and FPC both downloaded from the distros repository.
I have only just tried to use Lazarus/FreePascal, so I have started with a simple message and button programme.  but compile brings up the following errors.

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lgdk_pixbuf-2.0
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lgtk-x11-2.0
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lgdk-x11-2.0
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lpango-1.0
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lcairo
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -latk-1.0
Species.lpr(20,1) Error: Error while linking

I looked in the distros repository but cannot find lpango or lcairo there.

Any help in solving this most welcome.
