KDE's KIO bindings for Lazarus
« on: September 01, 2016, 06:47:55 pm »
Does anyone know if there are any KIO bindings for Lazarus?  KIO makes accessing network resources a snap, such as smb://, sftp://, ftp:// http://, etc...  Would be really awesome to be-able to use this within a Lazarus KDE app to pull in resources from the network without needing to build support for these protocols directly into the app.  This app would be meant to run on KDE on Linux only, not looking for cross-compiling in this case.

We need C bindings for that ... KIO is C++ , so unuseable in our case.
