An internal error is a compiler error and should (and this one is already) reported on bugs.freepascal.org in the compiler section.
Internal errors are taken very seriously. They should not happen.
This is the wrong place for internal errors: they are bugs by default and belong on the bug tracker.

In the bug report is a temporary work-around.
Trunk is a development branch. This can happen all of the time in trunk. That's why it is trunk and not stable or fixes. Be patient.

In fpc fixes the bug is not present.
