Bart he is using another IDE not just FPC. is dev-pas, is a Windows application.

OK, did not realize.
The download page does not say with what version of fpc it comes.
It is a 8 MB download, which is way less than any semi recent official fpc release for windows I ever saw.

I've downloaded it and in help says FPC 1.06, that program is about year 2002.

Just FYI, I've met teachers who said directly to my face that there should be no significant difference between compiler versions in terms of language features. I can only pray for his students O:-)

My teacher say to me that C does not support char switch...case and I have the working code in front of him, because books don't say that is capable, so I can believe it.
