Uos Additions...
« on: February 06, 2016, 09:34:19 pm »

In a conversion project of mine, I needed a Linux version of "mmsystem" & therefore discovered Uos.

I liked it because /1 it worked right out of the box, 2/ it is Windows/Linux ready & 3/ it was not a bloated project.
However, I quickly discovered it was not able to play iTunes .m4a's or CD's, of which my project required...
I therefore undertook to add these to my copy of Uos.
I used converted newac headers for 'libfaad' for .m4a's & 'CDRip122.dll' for CD's.
If there is any interest to have this added to Uos, I'd be glad to help. If not, that's ok too. ;)

I suggest you contact the author via Github [https://github.com/fredvs/uos]. Fred is also often around in the fpGUI support newsgroup. Binaural Sound playback filter support was also recently added.

The following page [https://github.com/fredvs] shows his email address. Alternatively create a Issue (discussion) in the Github UOS repository.
