Ok, I didn't find an exact match in the bugtracker so:
http://bugs.freepascal.org/view.php?id=28789

Ok, Mattias was quick but I had already fixed the fundamental reason which is a wrong default FileVersion. Please test with r49968.

And yes, I could also reproduce with clean config. Changing one window setting and saving it changed all the settings. I guess that's why it was not noticed.
Mostly Lazarus trunk and FPC 3.2 on Manjaro Linux 64-bit.

Revision 48868: IDE still starts on the primary screen with predefined position and size not where it was placed previously. But luckily it doesn't jump around anymore on any interaction.
Lazarus 1.7 (SVN) FPC 3.0.0

That's the IDE main window? It is a new bug then, I think the bug about other window positions got fixed.
Am I right?

Support for multiple screens is not very good. That is yet another issue. :(

Yes, it's working again.
Lazarus 1.5 r49968 FPC 3.1.1 i386-win32-win32/win64

And to stay on topic for this thread.... indeed, the separate component window is also saved now.

It's working fine now, even on multiple screens.

After much agony I do have the trunk installed and the componentlist is behaving almost as I want it.

The last problem is that it doesn't appear until I press ctrl-alt-p

If I've saved the desktop I'd expect it to be there when I open Lazarus.

Both work for me (Win 10, Lazarus+FPC trunk).

It appears also here after starting Lazarus.
Using Linux + GTK2 or QT bindings.

OK if it appears for you it must be me. I'll have another play.

Did you delete your config-directory and began with a clean config?

(if you create a lazarus.cfg in the lazarus.exe directory with the line "--primary-config-path=C:\dev\config", or something, you can manipulate where the config directory is placed)
