Catching records imported of a load data local infile before commit

Hello everyone!
I have created a load data local infile query built in my lazarus application. The thing is really fast, by the way. So I would like to know if it is possible to know how many records have been imported before the import process is done?
The reason for that is because I would like to have "record counter" in my form showing how many records have been imported so far.
I tried a mytable.recordcount, but off course, it will not work because the data has not been commited yet.
So what would be the solution for that?
