Component Property value not held.
« on: August 30, 2015, 07:29:03 pm »
Not sure if this is a bug or by design.
If you change a component property, a button caption for example, then select another component on the form, ie. the next button to change, the previous change isn't retained or saved, it reverts back to the previous setting.
This applies to any property value.
If you press return with the property still selected after making your change or select another property of the same component in Object Explorer before selecting another component on the form, your change is held.
I can remember having multiple buttons on Delphi and the change was held when you selected the next component on the form.

Ver 1.42 / 264 : Build 49524 : Win 7 64bit

Yes, this seems like a bug in 1.4.2.

But it appears to be already fixed in trunk.
(at least in Lazarus 1.5 r49605 FPC 3.1.1 i386-win32-win32/win64)
