Lazarus for Tizen In-Vehicle Infotainment
« on: July 29, 2015, 06:23:22 am »
Hi all,

How to install/deploy Lazarus to Tizen IVI?
I am trying to make Lazarus SDK for Tizen In-Vehicle Infotainment system 3.0.
This is interesting platform.

If you got successful, please share here.

Thanks much

Since Tizen is basically Linux, why not try and build Lazarus with Custom drawn controls?
I guess that fpc programs are not an issue when compiling for Tizen, provided you build the right (cross-) compiler for the cpu you are targeting and choose linux as OS target.
Object Pascal programmers should get rid of their "component fetish" especially with the non-visuals.

Because Lazarus Linux based on x11 system with gtk/qt UI framework then not easy to port to Tizen.
