component shows lines with/without arrows, in 4 directions (horz, vert, diag).

Can u give me info how to make ICO for componentpallette? how to paint file etc.

you create a ico resource with the same name as the component in all caps and include it in the package used to install the component

No its not. Your way is old for a time where resources did not work. You should have the same results with resources as well.
