Where is the IDE configuration file?
« on: July 05, 2015, 01:17:16 am »
Hi

Trying to compile a test program, I get this error:
Fatal: Unable to open D:\Lazarus\fpc\2.6.2\i386-win32\fpc.cfg.
I had an old version of Lazarus wich was installed (same location of the new one) when the boot drive was D:.
I installed the new version booting from C:.
Where can I change the path that the IDE looks for finding files?
I need to change all references to D: drive do C:.
Thanks

try Tools | Options | Files in the IDE.

someone more experienced with Lazarus installs may know if you have created a problem with the install of the new one and left over settings (like the mentioned CFG file) form the old one on the D:\ - formerly C:\ - drive. edit # 2: oops - you booted from D:\? or did you make your old C:\ drive be D:\ (newer, bigger HD for C:\ ?)

edit: my CFG found as seen in the attachment...
