problem svn checkout from svn.freepascal.org
« on: May 04, 2015, 08:23:55 am »
On windows 7 64bit I can't download source from svn , it works about 1 months ago because I build lazarus and fpc by "fpcup"  the end of March

I use this sommand

svn co http://svn.freepascal.org/svn/fpc/branches/fixes_2_6

After download about 20-50 files svn stop with error:

I have two type errors:
[1] svn: E120104: ra_serf: An error occurred during decompression
or
[2]
Checksum mismatch for 'D:\fpc64\fpc\tests\test\library\tlib3c.pp':
   expected:  9c95a479f2c499f2bc1e332a015eddae
     actual:  cffcaf1ad050cb14b8ed940b14df1be6

I check 3 clients for windows:
- from cygwin
- tortoise svn
- SlikSvn

They hava this same errors

I have the same problems, couldn't find a solution for that. I have the impression that it might be a network issue. On my office computer there is a proxy server in between and there are massive checksum errors when try to update from all http://svn.freepascal.org/svn repositories. Also from some components which are hosted there.

At home I'm currently working on a Linux Mint - KDE system where I don't have any errors at all.

Check your antivirus log. Some antivirus false detect some fpc exe's.

I fix it :)

I must uninstall "ESET Endpoint Security v6"  after that SVN works OK

Disable "ESET Endpoint Security v6" can't help
I must completely uninstall and reboot system then all works OK !
