Problem with Lazarus on Intel Mac OS X 10.4.7
« on: August 17, 2006, 03:27:26 pm »
Hello!

I don't know if this is really an installation problem... but because I am not sure, I think this is the right place to post it.

I got Lazarus running on an Intel Mac with OS X 10.4.7... but I had to use the daily snapshots because it seems that there are no intel packages for OS X within the download section. I tried two different snapshots - the one from 3rd august and todays snapshot. In both versions, I have the same error:

Lazarus starts without any problem and everything seems to be fine.
Then I put some visual components on the form for test purposes and run the application. Compilation is successful and the program starts - but there is always just an empty form shown, none of the visual components is displayed.

Any tip would be really appreciated. :)

The fpc team has not made releases yet for i386-darwin (i.e. for Intel Macs). Therefore there are no Lazarus releases for Intel Mac.

The current svn version of fpc (2.1.1) has a bug with storing properties. Therefore you get this empty forms.
