Let me clarify things. I DID NOT CREATE THAT TOPIC.
Some moderator has taken my answer to his pretentious one from a other topic and created a new topic from it.
Not fair because, he used his access to forum-admin to create that topic using my user name.
"Some moderator"? the first message of the topic is addressed to me. You can use my name
Indeed, I split the topic and assigned the name.
It might look like out-of-context, but it's not, since the context is set by the first message. I appreciate everyone staying within the actual context.
I also appreciate the suggested course of actions ->
please contribute.
But I wanted to correct Leledumbo's post about committers. Only core-dev are allowed to commit (so all names in the lists are (ex)core-devs)
But in my
earlier post I actually gave a list commits that based on the code contributed by non-core developers.
To make exactly the same point as Leledumbo did.
Not fair because he did erase his in-respectable message who was the cause of my answer.
There was nothing unrespectable in the post. Instead I was very curious what was so "shameful" about giving a contributors guidelines on how his big contribution could be adopted by IDE.
The purpose of its removal, as I explained, was not to continue flaming in the thread. But since you react I certainly took the action to split topics as they should be.
P.S. you should be able to "Modify" your first post and change the subject to bring the context in order.
