Console output on both Windows and Unix

The question is about cross-platform command line programs - is there a way to tell the IDE to "use launching program" when compiling on Linux/Unix, and not to do it when in Windows?

This way I must manually switch the checkbox when changing the OS, after I see it doesn't work... ::)
